The Science and engineering team provides technical, engineering, and operational support to advance innovative marine research, student learning, and infrastructure for the Oceans Department and at Hopkins Marine Station.
What We’re Working On:
- Support experimental aquaria, seawater systems, and space needs for faculty and students
- Assist with procurement, fabrication, and research infrastructure projects
- Increase visibility and collaboration with labs
- Expand opportunities for hands-on student learning in engineering and design
- Plan and contribute to long-term infrastructure and ocean technology development
