Questions about Hopkins? We have answers.

Erika Hunting
Erika is surfer from Southern California with an interest in sustainability. She is currently a senior at Stanford working towards a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a career in renewable energy. In the Spring of 2022, she participated in Stanford@SEA and a subsequent summer internship at Hopkins Marine Station under Professor Barbara Block, analyzing white shark biologging data. She loved her time at sea and at Hopkins. She had a ton of fun while fostering her interests in working towards a career in sustainability. Current Stanford students can reach out to her with any questions about the SEA program or what it’s like to spend a summer interning in Monterey via secure sign-in here: https://profiles.stanford.edu/

Lilah McCormick
Lilah is a junior at Stanford studying marine biology, and is originally from Westport, CT. She developed her love for the ocean early on through scuba diving, surfing, and being out on the water. At Stanford, she’s cemented her interest in marine science and conservation through classes in marine biology, wonderful research opportunities and interactions with Stanford Hopkins faculty, and study abroad experiences with Stanford@SEA and BOSP Australia. She is particularly interested in marine physiology and ecology, and hopes to conduct research that directly influences conservation policy throughout her career. Please reach out with any questions about SEA or her experiences at Hopkins: lilahm [at] stanford.edu.
